About these terms
These terms apply when you use SIA Verify and OfficialLookup, operated by Official Lookup.
Permitted use
The services provide access to public information. You must not obtain unauthorised access, interfere with another service, breach applicable law or misrepresent a source.
Accuracy and availability
Information may come from public records and other third-party sources. Data may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. The services do not guarantee that every result is current, complete or suitable for a particular decision. Verify important information with the original source.
Service changes
Features, data sources and availability may change. Access may be suspended for security, maintenance, legal compliance or prevention of misuse.
Liability
The services are provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Official Lookup is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss from use of the service, reliance on third-party data or temporary unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
The privacy policy describes how personal information is used.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Quotas
Without an API key, the website allows 3 requests per checker per IP per UTC day. That allowance is not an API key. An API key starts at Essential, £4 a month for 200 requests, and is also limited to 60 requests a minute.
